It's easy to take the metal caps off of injectable medication bottles. Viewed: 548 times.
The metal is incredibly soft - you just need a pair of wire cutters and a gentle hand. Viewed: 539 times.
Score the metal gently by just softly closing the very tips of the cutters through the metal on both sides (see next picture). Viewed: 518 times.
It should look like this when you're done. You should *not* feel the glass at any time when you close the cutters... be careful, and move slowly & gently. Viewed: 527 times.

Now hook one tip of the cutters under the edge of the cap, to the side of one of the scores and pull up very gently. Viewed: 507 times.
The metal should pull away fairly easily. There might be a rubber plug left behind, although it might pull away with the metal cap. Viewed: 542 times.
The rubber will peel right off if it doesn't come away with the cap. Viewed: 533 times.

When you're done you can peel off the labels and then wash the bottle out (the medication usually stinks). I hang mine on a bamboo skewer to dry. Viewed: 536 times.
